I live in Maryland and, and it seems like wherever I go I see at least one on the road . I know there are a fair amount of them out there now, as there is one registered in every state, but what has your experience been with these cars?

I've actually seen quite a few here in Austin, which is interesting because I believe you can't buy them legally in Texas.

Either this one, a LOT:
Or there a bunch of black ones in SE Wisconsin where I drive. Seen a black Model S about 10 times. This was the first. My last sighting was just this past weekend when dropping off my daughter at a birthday party. No pics. Just imagine a S parked crooked in the snowy parking lot of a strip mall.

I've seen two, one white one on the highway and a black one in a parking lot. They're much larger than they seem. The white one was in Mass and the black car was in RI

I've scene one of these in Loveland CO, though from what I understand one of the Tesla higher ups lives around here, or at least did around when I saw it. That's the only one I've scene though.

1 exactly like the red one pictured in Edmonton Alberta

There seems to be someone with a Tesla roadster who lives near me, because I see one on the local roads fairly often.

I've seen several within a 2-day gap in Tacoma. Specifically, the Ruston waterfront.

4. Three Model S'es and one Roadster.

I've seen a few parked up, either in burgundy (same as the one pictured), or black. One of them cut me off while I was driving the TDI back in December.

2 model Ss, one Roadster (Manhattan).

One..Texas plate in Virginia. It was 250 miles from the nearest supercharger station, heading away from it...either ballsy (with a lot of free time for outlet charging) or stupid.

All over the place here in Portland. I got to drive one in anger a few weeks back and, all prejudice aside, WHAT A MACHINE!

At least 200. Legit. I live in LA. Side note, I met Elon Musk and saw his personal tesla.

I'm more likely to see a Long-Whiskered Owl than a Tesla in Arkansas. I've only see a transporter loaded with Model Ss while I was driving to Boston last summer.

I literally see at least 2 a day while perusing around Chicago's north side. Lincoln Park folk love these things.

I live in North Jersey and have seen more and more (S's) on the road compared to about a year ago (I think ive only seen 5 roadsters tops in my life). We do have two "showrooms" nearby at GSP and Short Hills so that mixed with seeing more of them on the road in our area has got to be solid exposure for em. A lot of people ive spoken with about them are open to them..but are waiting for the 2.0 so to speak.

I live in Los Angeles. I've lost count. They're as common as Camry's, which isn't a bad thing. It's certainly made the roads sexier.

I live in Ottawa and there's one in my office parking lot. There are a bunch of high tech companies in the complex with at least 3 Cayennes on any given day so it's not particularly surprising. It's a little surprising that he's continued to drive it through our -30C winter. Other than that, I've seen may 2 others, but I can't tell if they're duplicates.

A billionty. More so if I drive around 360 west of town.
There's a lot in Austin.

I've lost count. Probably close to 500, both Roadsters and Model S'. Not complaining.
Should add that I live in Norway and I see 10-20 a day..

1, possibly 2. Because I'm not sure if the second one that I saw wasn't just the original.

Yeah I see them all over in the Baltimore/D.C. Area. I've probably seen 5 or 6 unique Model S and one Roadster. And also like three Fisker Karmas.
A teacher here at UMBC drives a red Model S so I see one every day, haha. There are also three Nissan Leafs and two charging stations. It's funny to see they all lined up next to each other every day. I'm sure they're pissed when the asshole in the Chevy Volt gets there earlier and takes their charger.

In Miami I see about 1 per week, and not the same car. Though a lady at work does have one so I see that pretty often. She let me drive it one day, it was fantastic, very quick and great build quality. There is a Tesla Dealership about 15 minutes up I95 from me and another showroom on Miami Beach so maybe that is why I see more here then in other places. On my drive to Daytona over the weekend I saw 2 on the highway, who knows how many I missed on the other side.
I haven't seen many Roadsters, maybe 1 or 2. Also see some Fiskers now and then, which I think is pretty impressive given their status.

yeah, like others said: Los Angeles is lousy with Teslas. they're everywhere! they even make their own traffic jams:
(this is pretty much every mall parking lot now - mall parking lots are completely silent now, devoid of the once ubiquitous mating call of the internal combustion engine. the sounds of birds singing fills the air. children's' laughter dances on your eardrums. caterpillar farts warn you of their mortal fragility... and yours as well)

I live in the Bay Area, so at least 15 a day (seriously).

In northern NJ, there are 4 distinct Model S's that I can recall, 1 Roadster, and I remember seeing a Fisker once on my way home from school. One Model S is owned by a client of mine, who gave me the full tour, and would have let me drive it around the neighborhood if it wasn't blocked in (funny enough, her other ride is an Audi wagon that she loves too much to get rid of!)
More interesting is the electric Minis that are in my town, but then there's a guy who built his own electric truck. Unfortunately, he doesn't take it to any shows.

Only seen one roadster in Chicago. I've seen more Model S tough. in Northern Indiana where I'm from, they are rare enough that I take a second glance when I see them coming down the road, but common enough that I dont whip a U-Turn to get a better look.

I've never seen one. But that's probably because I live on the border of Wyoming & Nebraska. I did see a new Cherokee in the wild 2 weeks ago, though, if that counts.

It's an easy mistake to make; we're at the boring end of Nebraska.
Who am I kidding, all of Nebraska is boring. But at least the other end has a population above 5,000.

Like 15 S models and maybe 10 roadsters.
for some reason, in the fall I kept seeing S's on my way into Toronto on the QEW.

In the seattle area, priuses, and ford fusion are the more popular gas alternative cars. I have to admit, the fusion actually looks really really good. But i've seen about 5-7 teslas in seattle and surrounding areas.
